A Sweet Dream! The baby shower we hosted at Hazel's Tea Parlor was nothing short of a sweet dream! We booked for 15 guests on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, Ron had everything in place: decor, seating, catering...and the entire setup was impeccable! Nothing exceeds Hazel's beautiful atmosphere, and the fare is always fresh and delicious. We were on our own special little cloud nine for the two hours we celebrated, and Ron took care of our every need. We will not hesitate to book this little slice of heaven again for our future events. Hazel's is the very best Leesville has to offer!
My daughters and I visited for tea and brunch because we wanted to be fancy. We were treated to fabulous service and exceptional food. We tried several varieties of tea and enjoyed them all. The unanimous and surprise favorite was the chocolate tea.
If you are looking for something refreshing and unqiue, this is it! They are only open for lunch hours. Make a reservation. Location: downtown leesville area. Parking can be limited and difficult since you must park on the road. Atmosphere: Fresh, inviting, homey. A vintage flare. They also decorate for the season/holiday which also matches their foods. No booths, only tables. Food: menu changes with the season/holidays. Always fresh and most things are house made (ie soups). I have tried their tomato soup, gumbo, cornbread, chicken salad sandwich, banana ice cream. My favorite was the tomato soup and cornbread. Literally the best I've ever had! Their gumbo was also flavored well and true to the south. Their chicken salad was good but it just needed more moisture. Their ice cream was blue bell but they gave it to me free for my birthday, which was incredibly sweet of them! Prices: depends on the item but affordable. I'd say about 2.50-8 per item. Parties: they host birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, office meetings and more! Hours: very limited. Only open 10-2pm (lunch) and I highly recommend making a reservation. Service: their staff is limited but they are very personable. They want you to have a good time and enjoy the experience.
Always fun! We enjoy the food and tea and try to go weekly as a date. Prices are great, service is great and overall amazing food I highly recommend this place to everyone I meet as well! Blackberry sage and wraps are our go to but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
We love going to Hazel's! It's the cutest little place, owner is amazing, has a good tea selection (along with other drinks for those who don't do hot tea), and the food is good.
They did their absolute best to accommodate our gluten free princess tea party. We were treated like family and had a blast. Great place to make memories and the tea was amazing!
We stopped for lunch while visiting our daughter. This is a little gem. Adorable and bright historic house. The service was friendly and the food light and delicious. The tea selection is extensive I ordered a mango-scented tea and it was lovely - served in a vintage cup and saucer. This is a perfect place for friends to enjoy a bite together.
Excellent place, food, service and experience. Wow this place is small but big in service. It's perfect for a little talk with your couple because is romantic and also is perfect if you want to talk about business too. The waiter was extremely great from the beginning until the end. The decorations of this restaurant is perfect, you need to see the bathroom look like a museum. I can't wait to come back with my wife. I really recommend this place. If you have time, there is a museums across the street, is perfect for take a few pictures.
